Jan E. Sucic

Mr. Sucic is a Managing Director of Family Management Corporation with responsibility for client relationship management. He has been employed by the firm since February 2000. Prior to this, he was employed by Scudder Kemper Investments. David R. Schawel

Mr. Schawel was appointed Chief Investment Officer of Family Management Corporation in 2017. He joined the firm from New River Investments where he managed private investment portfolios. From 2008 to 2015, he was Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Square 1 Financial and sat on the investment committee for Square 1 Asset Management. Prior to Square 1, David held various positions in equity research and investment banking. David is a Chartered Financial Analyst and graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a concentration in Finance.

Aldo S. Tarantini

Mr. Tarantini joined Family Management Corporation in August 2013 and currently serves as Director of Operations with primary responsibility over Operations and Finance. He also oversees the technology infrastructure, contributes to firm strategy, and new business development.  He spent the previous nine years in the financial services industry, most recently at Bernstein Global Wealth Management where he worked in their Private Client Group. He earned his Series 7 & 66 as well as his New York Life and Health Insurance licenses. He is a registered representative of Family Management Securities, LLC, a FINRA-registered broker-dealer and registered with Forest Hill Capital as an insurance producer. Mr. Frank is General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer for Family Management Corporation where he has been employed since 2011. He has also served as a consultant to the Office of General Counsel of Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. Mr. Frank began his career as a staff attorney at FINRA. Galit Kursman

Galit Kursman joined FMC in October, 2020 as a Senior Investment Advisor. She works closely with individuals and families developing comprehensive plans and strategies in line with their investment and estate/tax planning goals. Prior to joining FMC in 2020, Galit worked at Next Capital Management for 5 years. This was a transition from Credit Suisse, where Galit worked for twenty years on the Investment Grade Credit trading desk. In that role, Galit traded corporate bonds and commercial paper. She focused on a variety of industries, including healthcare, retail, industrials and banks, and interacted with Treasurers and CFOs of many Fortune 500 companies. Galit received her B.A. from the University of Rochester and her M.B.A. from the Wharton School. Galit lives in Manhattan with her husband and two children.

Jason Nardis

Mr. Nardis manages the Alternative Investment portfolio at Family Management Corporation. He was employed by the firm from 2010 through 2013, at which time he formed his own Alternative Investment advisory business, BlueOak Capital Advisors, LLC, and became a consultant to Family Management Corporation and other single family offices. Prior to this, he was employed by UBS in the Alternative & Quantitative Investments Group and also worked as the lead analyst for the family office of Jerome Kohlberg, co-founder of KKR. Michael Kenney

Mr. Kenney joined Family Management Corporation in August 2018 as Head Trader. Prior to joining Family Management Corporation Mr. Kenney was Vice President of Trading at CL King & Associates for 13 years, functioning in the roles of senior equities market maker, senior options trader, sales trader, and syndicate sales. Mr. Kenney started his career in 2000 at Needham and Company where he was a listed block trader. Mr. Kenney received his Bachelor’s degree in economics from New York University.

Tresson Patterson
